Done!!!!!!!
Done with school! Last class ever today. After 7 Years of college and three degrees it's finally over. I should have just taken a fuckin' doctorate so people could call me Doctor. I also cut off all my hair and have a mohawk now, blame my housemates. Oh and come the fuck out to Cybertron / Remission at the pyramid tomorrow night and watch me get drunk as fuck cause I just lost about 20% of my responsabilities! blah fuckity blah blah blah
Man it's been ages. Just letting people know i'm not dead or ignoring them. Just haven't hit the under 20 running tasks mark in a while =) My house is still! not completely done. SOOOO CLOSE though. I'm already in my new room with my own bathroom, new $1600 floors, walls, ceiling and a new in wall AC. For all those born in an AC equiped room... you have no idea how much this means to me. I'll find out tomorrow if I got a raise which should help massively after dumping all my funds into this house. Shit is going pretty well although stressful. I'm done with school next semester which means I could finally get a decent job during the week and reclaim my weekends slowly. Nothing dramatic has been going on lately just more work and home improvement related shit. Already have 3 people moved in and once everything clears up and gets cleaned i'll have 2 more rooms for rent. I never liked taking out trash so much. Grr. Work is still going on at my house so I haven't been able to get on my comp much. Sorry again for not keeping in touch. We finalized a lot of the design elements on the bathrooms so it shouldn't take much longer. Started interning for the company I already work for. Tought myself final cut pro editing and now they have me capturing dvd content for live VJ mixing... Pretty much, I'm making content for myself cause I am the only VJ they have and i'm getting school credit for it =) I don't think I'm ever gonna get out of school. By september I'll have 3 degrees and i still want to jump back and take some courses on electrical engineering. I'm on the 8 year plan. For all your technophreqs, rig junkies and gear lusts, I just picked up an Electro Harmonix DRM 32 rythem Matrix drum machine! Try to get any info on this thing... It barely exists! I think 5 people Own this and the Synth museum is hardcore searching for one... Price paid: 70$ =)it's the bastard model 03. Also I picked up a 78 paia oz synth for cheap to add to my collection. Hey, Long time no post. Been real busy lately finishing school. Graduated audio engineering and now working on finishing the last few classes for my BS degree. Woohoo. Been living at Jamies apt for the past 2 months or something cause i'm ripping apart my house. Soon I'll have some friends move in and i'll be acting as landlord of sorts! 10 years of planning finally comes together. Sorry If I have been severely out of the loop with keeping in touch with people. Not being home with my computer and around my phones has been a major factor. Anyway, not much else to write about at the moment cause i'm at work but i'll post again soon =) Ohh and Please!! if anyone can help me out and sign up for this under me, it would be a great help and you can also get a free mini mac computer! http://www.FreeMiniMacs.com/?r=14751890 is the link to sign up. You have to sign up under that link in order to help me out. All you have to do is sign up, get the confirmation email, OK it and complete an offer. The offers vary and they give you like 20 options or so. The easiest one that wont leave you having to pay for anything is just signing up for a credit card which you can cancel as soon as you get it. If you complete one offer and then have 10 other people complete an offer under your account, you get a free minimac!! Me, Jet and a few other friends actually got a free ipod this way and it's completely legit. Anyway, check it out. Thanks =) http://www.FreeMiniMacs.com/?r=14751890 Current Mood: bouncyCurrent Music: the quarks - I walk (mix) | | Tuesday, December 28th, 2004 | | 9:46 pm |

My turkey is better than yours =P
Holy shit, the Crobar video systems almost made me cream my pants! I just got back from checking out the club for my company. We were commisioned to do a 2000 person party at crobar using all the rooms. I'm hooking up my video system to theirs and we're also doing support for the lighting and audio... not that they really need it but for our production it helps. FUCK!!!!!!!! too bad I can't actually work the party because i'll be in wyoming. They wanted me to run the video throughout the place, VJ and possibly do a dj set in the smaller bamboo shoot looking room. Kinda upset about it cause thats like a VJ, LJ (not live journal:), DJ dream for me. 4 9x12 hanging screens a video wall, 4 V4 mixers with a matrix routing system and a slew of other gear lust not including my own vj console which i'll patch them into =( I've done a party for these clients for the past 4 years and it's always sick! Anyway Thanksgiving was a blast. Cooked a turkey and some other shit and Jamie cooked and helped out a lot as well. Had about 20 people over. Thanks for all who made it, even the ones who came when it was over =) | | Wednesday, November 24th, 2004 | | 12:45 pm |
Thanksgiving get-together
So... I'm cooking a turkey for thanksgiving =) Come one come all. Open house if you bring something to the table. Not a party but could turn into one. I say it's not a party because I don't feel like entertaining. Just putting up my house to chill. I'm setting up a projector and a big 5x7 screen with my DJ system. Movies playing in background, nice meal, drinks, music and random company. If your interested in chilling on thursday night from 8 PM till... Throw me an AIM *audiofile77* or MSN *audiophile77* I'll get back to you with directions and instructions =) Current Mood: amusedCurrent Music: I AM X - I AM X (the whole album) | | Tuesday, October 5th, 2004 | | 11:14 am |
http://www.adonoi.com for new party info =)
Hello LJ, been a long time. So much stuff to update on but i'm still wiping away the sleep from my eyes and getting ready for work. Spinning at the new Amen party hosted by Mike Wood and Ann-Ruth. COming up the friday after next. Check out http://www.adonoi.com for details. Should be mad fun. I love working with new people. Started school again which is fun. Sucks that I get soooo many days off during the fall though. The classes cram so much more info in a much shorter period of time. I'm going on vacation to wyoming in december with the lovely Jamie as well =) Haven't been snowboarding in ages so it should be loads of fun. Jamie bartended a private party in midtown and got us a girft certificate for masages at a spa yesterday. First time ever getting a pro massage and it was sooo awesome. Afterward we went to Roosevelt Island by way of the sky tram for the fuck of it. Had no idea that the sky Tram was only a metrocard fare. Would have done it before. Def. something cool to do if your bored or just want to explore shit. Also been working on some sick video content for work, making animated fractal designs. If anyone has any tips on some good DVD burning software I could use or on how I can import an AVI to DVD that would be much appreciated. I think it has to be a VOB file but I'm not sure. Ohh, if anyone has Reason 2.5 on disc that I can steal let me know. My computer is long over-due for a complete wipe, Reason stopped working and everything else is just not running as good as it should be. Cybertron Is also coming up this friday with 2 new CD giveaways! check out http://www.cybertron-nyc.com for more info on that. I'm bringing my sampler with me to do some live remixes and have some fun at the end of the night =) Catch you all there. Current Mood: awakeCurrent Music: Jamie Summers - sex feind | | 3:13 am |

taken from terrorfakt_ny's journal.... (taken from: http://www.kshb.com/kshb/nw_local_news/article/0,1925,KSHB_9424_3150714,00.html) Goth style is out at Wichita middle school August 31, 2004 WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ At Wichita's Wilbur Middle School, the so-called Goth look is out. Principal Cherie Crain says black lipstick, eye shadow, nail polish and hair dye are banned, along with all-black clothing. Also on the list are such accessories as studded metal bracelets and graphic T-shirts advertising heavy metal bands. Crain says students dressing in the so-called Goth style have become a distraction -- and some younger students were intimidated. In the past, only two or three among Wilbur's one-thousand students dressed Goth. Crain said she let that slide. But when school in the state's largest city started last week, about a dozen kids had adopted the Goth look. One mother complained about the rule change, saying ``They're just standing a round doing nothing and looking freaky.'' I sent my letter and I urge anyone who feels strongly about this to do the same. So I cut my hair! I dig it... Kind odd relearning how to shampoo again though. Finally home after 2 busy weeks of work and fun as well =)A quick thank you to all who came out to last fridays party, great night. Symbiotic did an awesome live show and really kept the energy going. I designed the flyer for the next couple of parties coming up and and it should be littered and posted everywhere soon =) I'm currently also working on a few new remixes of some old club favorites that i'll be throwing into the mix soon so come check it out. I finally get the weekend free so I'll be coming out to downtime on saturday and if anyone is free this sunday i'll be spinning at Duck (former wunderbar) with Ian Fford. Stay tuned for updates on more fun parties in the near future. Current Mood: busyCurrent Music: Nitzer Ebb - murderous (phi kieran remix standard). | | Friday, August 13th, 2004 | | 6:48 pm |

Massive update...
Ok, so I haven't really updated in months and I didn't feel the need to but i'm painfully sitting at home with a pulled back and getting cabin fever. So much shit has been going on this summer that it's hard to make up for all the LJ neglect so I'll work my way down from the present. Worked fri, sat, and sunday nonstop with CSE, had breaks in between for a few hours to go home and sleep though. Left the party on sunday, loaded up a second van with a small crew and some equip to hit up the Boston area to do another party mon. morning. did the party and came right back home to rest and chill with Jamie before doing a company showcase tuesday. Tuesday, for people living under rocks was a fuckin' monsoon, a national emergency, people dyed not very far from where I was working. Work went ok though. We had to edit a 30 minute set into 15 minutes and most of the MCs couldn't make it. Ohh yea, and I pulled my back out lifting an amprack up 2 flights of stairs. Last shockwave party Kicked so much ass! Thanx for everyone that came out. I haven't had that much fun in a while! Thanx to Halovox for performing a live set and doing a greta job of it. The next party is coming up... Tom. Fri. the 13th and we have another special live performance =) Went to Toronto to do another tyranny party. The response was amazing. The crowd was fun, the energy rocked and I had a blast, so much so that I didn't have to get drunk or trashed while I was there... later that night was a different story though =) Me, Jet and Jamie drove all the way up and had mad fun shooting fireworks and getting trashed together, couldn't ask for better friends to hang out with and enjoy spending that much time together with. Got fucked for the pay though so we had to hit up the promoters house and take some collateral =) What a dick! Thanks much to DJ darq and carnage and all the other DJ's that lent a hand to make it a great night. Went on vacation to Europe for almost 2 weeks. Hit up London for 4 days. Got to go to the slimelight and torture gardens 13th anniversary. Saw "Silence is Sexy" playing live by chance at some dive. And explored some of the more tourist type stuff. Spent way to much than I should have but it was a blast. Took a plane over to Berlin From London. Only me 3rd time being on a plane including the one to london and it was the most beautiful sight flying over Berlin. Stayed at a hostile called Alcatraz and hit up some of the local clubs and explored some more. Met up with DJ Q randomly at a club called K17. He was on his way to Leipzig as well for the 13th WGT. Had a lot of fun walking the streets of Berlin. All in all... I WANNA MOVE THERE. From Berlin We took a train to Leipzig. If you can imagine something like a city of freaks... you're getting warmer. There were thousands... FUckin thousands of freaks everywhere. you were stepping over them. Extremely surreal. 4 days of clubbing, going to concerts and getting trashed with people from all over the world that enjoy that type of shit. Amazing.. can't really describe it any other way. GO! It's like fuckin' Mecka. Saw so many bands that I couldn't function properly. *Leaves eyes, suicide commando, camouflage, Ran into DJ Damien Plague and some other random people I knew from the states, combichrist, SITD, northern lite, fixmer and mccarthy! Holy shit. Mccarthy came out and instantly started doin a whole Nitzer Ebb set like 10 feet away from me with Fixmer doing all the sick electronics! JOIN IN THE CHANT! Funker vogt, covenant, the klinik, anne clark & david harrow, rottersand, icon of coil, namnambulu, distain, melotron, DE/VISION! FUCKING AMAZING, coil, new days delay, sleepwalk and some other bands =) Plus hit up the town and a bunch of clubs. Thanks to Henny who helped me out with a place to stay in London, provided a traveling companion / translator and for her invaluable map skills. One of the greatest things I have ever done for myself is go deeply into my credit cards to fund this absurd vacation. SO WORTH IT. Finished the first part of my audio engineering certificate program. and... some other shit that might or might not be worth mentioning but I think I'm done with my LJ itch for now. Current Mood: Can't bitch or complain =)Current Music: Code 64 - the whole storm album. pick it up =) |
